This proposal seeks continued funding for Prezenti to sustain grassroots grant funding within the Celo ecosystem during Season 0 (first half of 2025). This funding round will ensure Prezenti’s operations continue, and support builders while integrating with the Celo Seasons initiative. This proposal acts as a bridge until Celo Governance 2.0 is fully implemented post-L2 migration.
Prezenti is a trusted funding entity within Celo, directing community funds toward visionary individuals and projects that drive meaningful innovation. Small and medium-sized grants remain crucial within any blockchain ecosystem, and Prezenti continues to fulfill this role.
Objectives for Season 0
- Continue grassroots grants and introduce a Scale Pool for larger initiatives.
- Enhance collaboration with key Celo stakeholders (Celo Foundation, Regional Hubs, Celo Camp, VCs, etc.).
- Expand the reviewer team to reflect the increasingly global Celo community.
- Align with Celo Governance 2.0, providing input on grant program strategy.
- Support the development of a “Grants Council” model aligned with Celo Seasons.
